roasted pepper pasta salad

summer is a great time for pasta salad of any kind.  since i live in the south now, i get a whole lot of summer weather, which means that i get to try lots of pasta salad recipes.  this is one was featured on the cover of a recent food network magazine and the bocconcini really grabbed my attention.  (i can’t imagine why… :)) adapted slightly from food network magazine 12 oz. rigatoni 2 bell peppers, halved, stemmed and seeded 6 cloves garlic, unpeeled 1/3 c almonds 1/3 c evoo 1 lemon 8 oz. bocconcini (small mozzarella balls) 1 bunch fresh basil, leaves torn pre-heat the broiler to high.  bring a pot of salted water to boil.  add the pasta and cook as the label directs.  drain and rinse under cold water to stop...
