cheesy potatoes

this is a side dish that can go with any meal. i love this dish so much, i can eat an entire bowl and call it a meal. 🙂

  • 2 lbs. frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
  • 1 c onion, chopped fine
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 lb (16 oz.) sour cream
  • 1/2 stick margarine, melted
  • 8 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
  • wavy potato chips (approx. 1 c, crushed)
  1. preheat oven to 350°.
  2. mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
  3. salt and pepper to taste.
  4. top with potato chips.
  5. put in a greased 9×13″ pan.
  6. bake for one hour.
